(This story has been updated to add new information.)
After their 0-for-September start, the Jacksonville Jaguars return home to face the AFC South divisional rival Indianapolis Colts. Can they turn it around?
The 0-4 opening has turned up the pressure on quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who has lost his last nine starts dating back to the close of the 2023 season, as well as head coach Doug Pederson. The Colts missed quarterback Anthony Richardson last week to a hip injury, but beat formerly-perfect Pittsburgh to climb to 2-2 with Joe Flacco behind center.
Despite the Jaguars' many struggles, they have thoroughly dominated the Colts of late when playing in Jacksonville, winning the last nine meetings.

Jaguars go three-and-out: Colts to get football back
That will lead to some questions: With a one-score lead and a thriving ground game, the Jaguars didn't run the ball at all and failed to burn much of the clock. Doug Pederson wins challenge on spot: Colts to punt
A rare challenged spot pays off for the Jaguars. Officials originally ruled that Trey Sermon had converted third down for Indianapolis, but Doug Pederson challenged, and upon further review, Antonio Johnson and Buster Brown combined for the tackle short of the 40. The Colts first kept the offense on the field, but after a false start, they elected to punt. Colts 7, Jaguars 3, 7:12 2nd. --Clayton Freeman
Field goal Jaguars: Cam Little 23-yard kick gives Jags first points
Still no end zone celebrations for the Jaguars today, despite another long drive. A fourth-down sneak by Trevor Lawrence and a pass from Lawrence to Tank Bigsby were the key drives on the possession for the Jags. Lawrence (10 of 11, 104 yards) is off to a much better start. But his second-down pass to Luke Farrell came up inches short of the chains, and the Colts' Grover Stewart stuffed Bigsby for a loss on third down. This time, Doug Pederson opted for the kick and a 23-yard conversion from Cam Little.

Doug Pederson passed up the field goal and went for fourth down, but Lawrence couldn't complete the pass to a tightly-covered Brian Thomas Jr. He was 4 for 4 before that incompletion. Colts 7, Jaguars 0, 3:37 1st. --Clayton Freeman

Indianapolis then advanced to the 1, where the Jaguars stood firm on second and third down. Jaguars vs Colts predictions
Demetrius Harvey, Florida Times-Union: Jaguars 24, Colts 14
"Yes, the Jaguars are 0-4 and don't look like a team that is thought to be the best one assembled in franchise history, something that owner Shad Khan said before the year. But, with everything surrounding the team, the 'Prowler Throwbacks,' Tom Coughlin's induction into the Pride and an overall sense of looming dread, it feels like the exact recipe for the Jaguars to get a win."
Gene Frenette, Florida Times-Union: Jaguars 27, Colts 17
"I'm not sure I trust the Jaguars to win a close game that comes down to making one play in the final minutes. But playing as a frontrunner with a two-score lead, and facing minimal adversity, beating the Colts at home is usually a recipe for less stress. Besides, do they really want to deal with the fallout of losing on Tom Coughlin's big day?"
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: Jaguars 24, Colts 17
"The Colts have not won in Jacksonville since 2014, but this Jaguars team is reeling. At 0-4, this is a must win or they are truly done. The Colts don't know who will start at quarterback withAnthony Richardsondinged up. It could beJoe Flacco. It won't matter. The history stays the same. The Jaguars will get their first victory."
Lorenzo Reyes, USA TODAY: Colts 24, Jaguars 17
"I actually think Joe Flacco can be a stabilizing presence for Indy. The Jaguars, meanwhile, can wear their throwback uniforms all they want, this team has massive holes and Trevor Lawrence’s confidence appears to be shaky."
