The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 16, 2024, ofRosa Considine (née Dunphy), The Demesne , Longford Town, Longford.Beloved mother of the late Dearbhla and Donal. Beloved wife of the late Sean.

Rosa will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Brid (Keenan), Mary (Conway) and Rosemary (Rowley), sons Brendan, Sean, Eamonn, Adrian and Ronan, sisters-in-law Maura, Alice, Nonie and Margaret, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 19 grandchildren, 7 great -grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81), on Monday, August 19 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. The death occurred peacefully at University Hospital Galway on Thursday, August 15, 2024, the Feast of the Assumption of Sr Kathleen Owens, Sisters of Mercy, Stella Maria, Galway and formerly of Kenagh, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her parents William and Brigid (née Rodden) and her sister Alma Shine. Deeply regretted and fondly remembered by Sisters of Mercy Western Province, in particular the communities in Stella Maria, Lanesboro and Coolarne, her brother-in-law Martin Shine (Canada), her niece Miranda, nephew William, cousins and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Stella Maria H91 XY93 on Sunday, August 18 from 3.30pm to 5pm. Arrival on Monday August 19 at St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon. Jospehine McGowan, Cloone, Kinlough, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully in Arús Breffni Nursing Unit Manorhamilton, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 15, 2024 of Josephine McGowan, Cloone, Kinlough, Co Leitrim.

Josephine's remains will repose at her late residence, Cloone, Kinlough on Saturday, August 17 from 12 noon until 5pm. Removal of remains on Saturday evening, August 17 to arrive at St Aidan’s Church for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday morning, August 18 at 11am with burial afterwards in St Aidan's Cemetery, Kinlough.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu of so desired to Arús Breffni Nursing unit care of any family member. Josephine's passing is a source of great sadness to her daughters Kathleen, Mary and Helen, her sons Charlie and John, daughter in law Caroline, brother Oliver, grandchildren Sean and Èabha, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. Josephine is predeceased by her husband Johnny and son Bartley.

Maureen Molloy, UK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Maureen Molloy, beloved wife of Mr Aidan Molloy. Maureen passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Greenwich, London, UK.

She was the cherished daughter-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs Airlie, whose family were well known and respected Merchant Tailors in Longford town many decades ago. Maureen will be deeply missed by her loving husband Aidan, her extended family, and all who knew her. We kindly ask those who may have had any distant connection or relation to the Molloy or Airlie families to join us in remembering and celebrating her life.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at St Stephen's RC Church, Welling, Kent, England. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cancer Research UK.
